Luke Kelley grew up only a stone’s throw from Christ Community, just outside the metropolis of Bailey Lakes. After graduating from Crestview High School, he moved to Winona Lake, IN to receive ministry training at Grace College and Theological Seminary, earning a B.A. in Biblical Studies and an M.Div. in Pastoral Ministry.
Luke and Christina met on their first day of class at Grace College when they were paired up to give a speech about one another. They married in 2005 and have been blessed with four wonderful children who keep them busy!
Pastor Luke brings a passion for solid biblical teaching, connecting with the community, and authentic discipleship. He’s been a pastor since 2007, coming to Christ Community in 2018 and becoming our Senior Pastor in 2020.

Zane Stepp serves as our Pastoral Resident. He has felt called to pastoral ministry for many years and is currently pursuing a Master of Theological Studies at Grimké Seminary.
Zane and his wife, Michelle, have been married since 2015. Zane is originally from Ashland and Michelle is from Arizona. They have moved back and forth from Ohio to Arizona multiple times. Their most recent move back to Ashland was in 2022 and that is where they live with their daughter, Hannah, and their dog, Lenny. Outside of ministry and seminary, Zane enjoys following sports, using his smoker, going to coffee shops, and spending time with his family.
He is thankful for the ministry opportunity at CCEFC and looks forward to seeing how the Lord will shape, grow, and use him during this time.

Angela Phelps serves as the church secretary. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at age twelve and renewed her faith in 2000. Angela has served a variety of ministries including teaching children, foster and kinship family support, youth, praise and worship, prayer, local outreach and missions, fundraising and more.
